In celebration of US Independence Day - or Fourth of July - we’ll be wearing red, white and blue this weekend.

A classic colour combination, not only are these the colours of the American flag, these colours are perfect for the nautical-inspired trends that pop up every summer. For this look, stick to one colour in your clothing, and accessorise with the other colours; a white dress with blue flats and bag, for example, or a navy jumpsuit with red heels and clutch.
If you don’t want to go the full patriotic route, an injection of red, white or blue will looks good in most outfits, and will work in both summer and winter. This weekend, we’ll be wearing classic, luxurious totes and clutch bags from Lauren Ralph Lauren, or going for the hands-free option with bucket bags and cross bodies from Calvin Klein and Rebecca Minkoff.
